Well today started early, we were at the school of Terra Santa by 8am. The children were welcomed to the school at assembly. They were presented with a Terra Santa School top for them to wear, we all received a rose.
It was then off to class. The four boys went to the year six classes. The rest of us were split into two groups to visit other classes. Janine, Seana, Liz and myself visited the Years 1,2 & 3 where we participated in the English classes where we sang a fantastic rendition of Kookaburra Sits In The Old Gun Tree! It was fun and the kids were very excited to have us there.
Nick, Tom, Rhys and Jack were in a class together where they participated in English lessons and spoke about themselves.
After school we returned to our host family where we had our main meal for the day. After that, I accompanied Rana to take Maria to her ballet lesson and while she had her lesson we went for a drive all around Nazareth. What can I say, Nazareth is a extremely old city where there is no space to build so they just build up. The difference between Nazareth and Nazareth Elite is amazing the infrastructure is completely different the roads wider, smoother the houses bigger. Rana took me to a shopping mall where when you enter you are scanned and bags are checked, just like at airports.
We are still pretty tired from yesterday so it's an early night for us.
